If you are wondering how to get to Isla Cristina in the Costa de la Luz, you can get there by car, or bus. The highway is the only way to reach it. It does not have a train station, or airport. The two nearest airports are those of Faro International in Portugal and Seville International. The RENFE train Station is located in the capital, Huelva. They are all located about an hour to an hour and a half distance from Isla Cristina.

HIGHWAY

The highway that takes you to Isla Cristina gives you various routes. The most common way to arrive here is if you are coming from Seville. It is a toll highway that takes you to Huelva, and from Huelva you take the highway Autovia 22. If you are coming from Extremadura the direction of the beaches will take you all the way to Isla Cristina, and if you are coming from Portugal the A22 will also bring you here. The Faro´s international airport in Portugal as the Seville International airport are only about an hour away from Isla Cristina. From these two spots you´ll have many possibilites to arrive by car or bus to this location.

AIRPLANE

To get to Isla Cristina if coming by airplane you´ll have two choices. Flying into Faro international in Portugal or Seville International in Spain. They are both approximately an hour away from Isla Cristina. Both options are recommended since both airports have buses as well as rental car agencies that will make your trip to Isla Cristina easy.

TRAIN

If you are coming by train, you must get off in Huelva, whether you are coming from another point in Spain or Portugal. In Huelva you´ll find the RENFE train station that has many connections with Portugal as well as Spain.
